ELLSWORTH - The SVC and NLC leaders met at Art Drenth Field on a deceptively cool evening on Monday night and each came away with a victory, foreshadowing a potential district finals matchup at the end of the month.

By Chris Tredway Staff Writer Gaylord - Neighboring programs continue to be oppressed by a Mancelona team that has made its intentions clear in northern Michigan. Ironmen baseball swung by Gaylord St. Mary May 1 and took both games from a home team that seemed overwhelmed. While the Ironmen played far from perfect ball, they managed to score nine runs in the first game.
