Fiery mess

Fire fighters were not yet on the scene of this fully engulfed house fire at 6808 Golf View Drive in Lakes of the North when Jerald Tomko took this photo. Tomko, a family friend, was working in Gaylord when the homeowner contacted him by phone and told him of the fire. According to Tomko, Stephanie Grish was home at the time, with her baby. A smoke alarm alerted her to the fire. She was able to escape with the baby, however, the familyÕs two cats and one dog perished.
