ol Lynne Hockenberger, 64, of Pickerington, Ohio, and Bellaire, died Wed. Jan. 10, 2007, in Ohio. She was born Dec. 23, 1942, in Lima, Ohio, the daughter of William and Marjorie (Failor) Alexander. She received her BS in Education from the University of Cincinnati, College Conservatory of Music, and was a member of the Alumni Association for both. She was a private music instructor in piano and flute, a former 3rd grade teacher, and former music teacher. She was a member of the Sigma Alpha lota music Sorority and was a recipient of the SAI Sword of Honor and Rose Award.Beside her love of music she enjoyed fishing and spending summers in northern Michigan. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Robert Hockenberger, children, Amy Stratton of Hilliard, Ohio, Doug (Cherie) Hockenberger of Lake Ann, grandchildren, Jacob Stratton, Aaron and Gabrielle Hockenberger, brother in law Jim (Carol) Hockenberger of North Canton, Ohio. Graveside services will be held Saturday, Feb. 3, 2007, at 10 a.m. at Lakeview Cemetery, Torch Lake Twp, near Eastport. Pastor Richard Stieve will officiate.
