Starting...NOW...you can call in to my main office at the Antrim County News (231-533-8523) and sound off on anything sports related that you'd like, and I'll print it in the paper. No questions asked. You don't even have to leave your name, just the town where you're calling from. Now, there are some restrictions. I still won't print anything defamatory, libelous, or grossly inappropriate, but anything else pretty much goes.

Didn't like the parking at a game last week? Sound off! Were you impressed at the way a visiting team conducted themselves in your gym? Sound off! Want to offer a prediction on a big game coming up? Sound off! Do you just want to complain about nothing in particular? Sound off! It's all the benefits of a letter to the editor, without having to go through that pesky process of verifying your identity. In Sound Off, everyone is anonymous.

If you don't want to call, set up a fake email address and email your comments to me at ccorwin@ michigannewspapers.com. Or you could leave an anonymous note under the office door. It's up to you. Just include your town. Even if you email me with your real address and accidentaly leave your name, I promise I won't print it.

Now, of course, I do reserve the right to respond to anyone sounding off on the paper, and I will attempt to clarify the record on any factually suspect sound offs, most likely by way of a couple italicized lines underneath the offending entry. But what do you care? You're anonymous!

How to Sound Off:

- Call 231-533-8523 and when someone answers say you'd like to sound off. When the person listening is ready, start sounding off.

- Send an email to ccorwin@michigannewspapers.com. Your name will not be printed.

- Mail or drop off a paper copy of your sound off. Your name will not be printed.

- All Sound Offs must include the town of the person calling or writing in.

- Anything defamatory, libelous, or grossly inappropriate will not be printed. Don't waste your time.
