A memorial service was held on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2008 at 4 p.m. at the Alba United Methodist Church.

Ê Evelyn was born on Jan.15, 1919 in Alba, the daughter ofÊRobert and Anna Catherine (Anderson) Hubbard.

She enjoyed reading and engaging people in conversations.ÊEvelyn was a very spunky and happy person.ÊShe loved to laugh.

She is survived by Phyllis (Robert) Hudack of Central Lake; Barbara Siglow of Akron, Ohio; Norma (Lloyd) Stark of Magnolia, Tex.; Joann (Gary) Erickson of Illinois and Leon Brown of Akron, Ohio; thirteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; one brother, Lee (Eileen) Hubbard of Mancelona and Florida; as well as several nieces and nephews.ÊShe was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Brown on March 3, 2003; two sons, Jerry and Albert Brown; four sisters; and eight brothers.
