Born on June 24, 1949 in Ligon, Ky., she was a daughter of the late Kenneth and Eula (Caudill) Yates. On Dec. 24, 1967, Anna married Earl Gyde in Plymouth and they made their home in Ypsilanti until their move to Newberry in 1994. Anna was a member of F.O.E. Aerie #3701 and loved casino gaming, bingo, reading and watching the birds.

Survivors include her husband Earl of Newberry, a son Butch (Patty Hutchinson) Gyde of Mancelona, and daughter and son-in-law Patty (Will) Spaulding of Newberry; grandchildren William and Angela Spaulding and Josie and Josh Gyde. Also surving are her sister and brother-in-law Diane (Roger) Cook of Ypsilanti.
