Harriet was born on Feb. 2, 1916 in Corunna, the daughter of Edward and Hazel (Hickmott) Vautherot.

Harriet was a resident of Alba since 1948 where she held memberships in the Chapter 51134 Scarlet Red Hatters as well as the Alba Sportsman Club.

She enjoyed watching her television and listening to country music.

On June 25, 1935 in Owosso, she married Doc Ordway who preceded her in death in 2004. Also preceding her in death were a son Donald Ordway in 1955 and three sisters, Lila Kirby, Belva VanStrate, Lucille Louch as well as her parents.

Surviving are six children, Roland Ordway of Alba, Marilyn (Jack) Miller of Ovid, Patricia Milligan of Alba, Jerry "Butch" Ordway of Alba, Sharon (Jerry) Huffman of Elmira, Barry (Kathy) Ordway of St. Mary's, Ga; a sister, Marion Louch of Corunna; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held on Monday, Feb. 25, at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. Paster Jerry Huffman officiated.

Interment will take place in the spring in Fairview Cemetery, Mancelona.
