Ali was born on Dec. 21, 1987, in Port Huron, Mich.

She had resided in the Mancelona area since 2001 and graduated from Alba High School in 2006.

She enjoyed sports, especially wrestling and basketball, but her greatest love was spending time with her family.

She is survived by her beautiful daughter, Madison Lynn DuBay of Mancelona, her parents, Lori (Terry) Douglas of Kalkaska, her maternal grandparents, Donna (Don) Frost of Mancelona, John Haynes of Ray Township, great grandmother, Betty Stewart of Mancelona, five siblings, Crystal Douglas of Kalkaska, Jason Douglas of Utica, Timothy Douglas of Mancelona, Donnie DuBay of Mancelona, Gabrielle Douglas of Kalkaska, two best friends, Jason and Brandon Bush, two nephews, two nieces and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by a great grandfather, Jay Stewart, great grandmother, Nellie Haynes, and two great uncles, Tommy Stewart and M.C. Haynes.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, Feb. 24, 2007, at 11 a.m. at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. Yousef "Yogi" Jabara officiated.

Visitation took place on Friday, Feb. 23 from 1 to 8 p.m., also at the funeral home.
