The Mancelona Ministerial Association coordinated Good Friday services for community members on April 6. Hosting the event this year was the Antrim Church of Christ. Members of several area churches carried the cross to its erection point, where another member places symbols of adornment on it. The inclement weather prevented members from carrying the cross down US-131 as originally planned. Participating churches included the Antrim Church of Christ, Church of the Nazarene, Free Methodist Church, Pathways Community Church, the United Methodist Church and St. MattÕs Lutheran Church.
