Jim was born on Oct. 27, 1938, in Attica Twp,, Mich., the son of Royal and Wilda (Parks) Woodley.

He was a resident of Mancelona for the past 11 years and enjoyed cutting firewood, planting flowers and spending time in the outdoors. On Aug. 6, 1984, in Livingston, TX., he married his longtime companion Mary J. Little.

In addition to his wife Mary, he is survived by a step-daughter Jeannie (Gerald) Barnes of Mancelona, a brother, Jake Woodley of Lansing, two sisters, Olive Fuller of Mesick, Vonda (Mike) Charter of Metamora, two grandsons, Gerald and Joseph Barnes, both of Mancelona and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Alf Woodley, and his parents. Funeral services were held Thursday, March 29, at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. Pastor Ross Corne officiated.
