Otto was born on Sept. 16, 1930, in Onaway, the son of Otto and Edith (Dunn) McGrath.

Otto was a Mancelona resident for the past 32 years. He was employed at Shanty Creek Resort in Bellaire and also worked in the trucking industry for many years.

On April 7, 1950, he married Helen M. Bryson, who survives. Also surviving are two children, June (Brian Manley) McGrath of Mancelona, Alan (Debra) McGrath of Taylor, four grandchildren, four great grandchildren, three brothers, Jerry McGrath, and Leonard McGrath both of Taylor, Robert McGrath of Texas and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Roger, Kenneth, and Donald a sister, Janice Cole, and his parents.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, April 7, 2007, at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
