Keith was born Aug. 19, 1924 in Lakeview the son of Ralph and Viva (Hafey) Bollinger.

He owned and operated the family business, Bollinger Inc. Chrysler Dealership in Lakeview until the late 1980s, retiring to Torch Lake.

He attended the business college of Michigan State University and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing and hunting.

On Sept. 15, 1947 in Greenville he married Alice M. Petersen who preceded him in death in 2001.

Surviving are three daughters, Kaylyn Kale of Byron Center, Faye Bollinger of Littleton, Colo., Kelly (Jim) Palmer of Spring Lake; a sister Bernice Bennett of Boyne City; six grandchildren, Alec, Chase, Harrison, Michelle, Alison and Heather; three great grandchildren, Zoe, McCoy and Ethan.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, April 19, 2008 at 3 p.m. at the Lakeview Cemetery in Lakeview.

Military honors will follow under the auspices of the Lakeview VFW Post. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Grass River Natural Area, P.O. Box 231, Bellaire, MI 49615.
