Pat was born April 25, 1933, in Saskatchewan, Canada to her parents, Louis and Alice Vetter.

She received her MasterÕs degree in philosophy at Catholic University in Washington, D.C. and her PhD in philosophy at St. Louis University. She was a professor and chairman of the Humanities department for many years at Benedictine University, Lisle, IL.Ê She volunteered her time teaching English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) through the AAUW, Indian River County.

She is predeceased by her husband, John Fauser; survived by her sister Jane Vetter of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; sister Colleen (Fred) Durrant of San Andreas, Calif; niece, Patricia (Ralph) Doering of Ft. Lauderdale; nephew, Robert (Judi) Smuck of Traverse City, Mich; four nieces and nephews in Calif; sister-in-law, Alice Huitink of Williamsburg, Mich; grand nieces and nephews and countless friends.

A funeral Mass was celebrated at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach, on Monday, April 30, 2007, at 10 a.m.
