Obituaries PUBLISHED: Eileen married Jack Alonzo Sage on May 18, 1941. Unto this union four children were born, Jack P., Gary L., Kay Eileen, and Randy A. She was preceded in death by her parents, Prescott and Anna, beloved husband Jack, sister, Marion Telgenhof and nephew, Gerald ÒSkipÓ Telgenhof. She is survived by sister, Eunice Empey of Bellaire, three sons; Jack (Ruth) of Grand Haven, Gary (Carolyn) of Central Lake, Randy (Lee) of Belding, daughter Kay Sage of Central Lake, four granddaughters; Tammy Forrest, Tina Naniseni, Amanda St. John, Jenny Sage and two grandsons, Jack and John Sage. As well as eight great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Eileen graduated from Bellaire High School in 1936 and furthered her education at Albion Christian College. Eileen was a faithful member of the Central Lake United Methodist Church for 64 years. During many of those years she served as Lay Leader, Sunday School Superintendent, and also served on several committees. Her employment included years at Central Food Center, LaBeauÕs Self Serve and selling Avon. Her greatest love was to be with her children and all the grandchildren. She was an avid gardener, could crochet anything and loved to play piano. She made the best pies and was a big Detroit Tigers Fan. Eileen was a beautiful soul. She was intelligent, quick witted, and had a great sense of humor. Her beautiful smile will sadly be missed. Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 25, 2007, at the Central Lake Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes, with the Rev. Chuck Williams officiating Interment was in Southern Cemetery, Central Lake Twp. Memorial contributions may be made to the Central Lake United Methodist Church, P.O.
