Angel, as she was known to family and friends, was born August 14, 1970 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Growing up in a military family, Angel lived many places, but spent most of her life in Mancelona, where she graduated from high school. For a time she was a resident of Woodstown, New Jeresy, where she worked as a medical billing agent, but most recently lived in Ocalato be near her parents.

Angela is survived by her daughter Danielle Buckwheat of Ocala, her parents, Jason and Betty Buckwheat of Ocala, brother and sister-in-law Kenneth and Anne Buckwheat, of Woodstown, New Jersey, brother and sister-in-law Steven and Lori Buckwheat of Grayling, paternal grandfather Jack (William) Buckwheat of Mancelona, nieces Ashley and Chelsey Buckwheat of Mancelona, and niece Melissa Buckwheat, Woodstown, and nephews Ryan and Colin Buckwheat, of Woodstown.

She was preceded in death by paternal grandmother Eleanor Buckwheat, of Woodstown, and maternal grandmother Myrtle Vazquez, of Lansing.
