On September 1, 1992, he married his beloved wife, Arlene, who survives. Also surviving are his five children, David, Mark, Karen, Greg and Chris, eleven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, three brothers, Frank, Willard and John and one sister, Donna.

David was proud to spend his entire career in the military. He was an Army veteran of World War II and an Air Force veteran of Korea and Vietnam. His hobbies included gardening, bowling, fishing and hunting.

A memorial service will be held at Grace Community Church in Central Lake on Saturday, June 23, 2007, at 3:00pm.

The family will receive visitors from 2 - 3 p.m. Pastor Max Tracey will officiate. Following will be a military committal service under the auspices of Torch Post 6985 at Southern Cemetery in Central Lake.
