Margaret was born Sept. 14, 1943 to Don and Virgia (Tedford) Harrison in Imlay City. She was a 1961 graduate of Dryden High School then moved to Mancelona in 1972.

She was also a member of Community of Christ Church in Gaylord for many years and enjoyed gardening, fishing, swimming and camping. She is survived by two children, Robert McKim Jr. of Mancelona and Laura (David) Downey of Traverse City; four brothers, Jim (Bonnie) Harrison, Jerry (Jean) Harrison, Richard (Dawn) Harrison, Larry (Sissy) Harrison; six sisters, Janet (Elmer) Miller, Barbara (Jim) Nighswander, Carol (Wayne) Westbrook, JoAnn (Rick) Weatherford, Donna (Jerry) Goulette, Mary (Ray) Strickland; a brother-in-law, Virgil Ryan; a sister-in-law, Barbara (Fred) Techel; six grandchildren, Michael Downey, Jason McKim, Joshua McKim, Eric Downey, Justin McKim, Amanda Downey, a great grandson, Austin McKim and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

On Dec. 15, 1965 in Parisburg, VA., she married Robert McKim Sr. who preceded her in death in 2002.Ê Also preceding her in death were her sister Beverly Ryan, her parents and many other family members.

Funeral services wereÊ held Saturday, Sept. 1, 2007 at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.Ê Elder Patricia Fowler officiated.Ê Interment took place in Otsego Lake Township Cemetery.
