Mancelona went up by eight points in the first match and held off an Eagle comeback attempt to take a 25-22 first game victory. Bellaire would take the lead in the second match with some good serving courtesy of Jennifer Schrader, but Mancelona made plays when it counted to take the second game 25-20. The Lady Ironmen were automatic in the third game, taking it 25-20 and sweeping their county rival in three games.

"An entire team effort from everyone tonight - everyone had a hand in this win,"Mancelona head coach Connie Brigham said. "The team is improving with each game. There were very few errors tonight and they did a great job of finding the vulnerable spots in the oppositions defense."

Maggie Shanahan had 26 assists, 12 digs, and six aces; Lisa Luton had 22 digs, nine kills, and six aces; Sam Watkins had 16 digs with five kills; Andrea Allen had 14 digs; Sam Matthews had eight kills and six digs.
