The Trojans improved their record to 3-0 overall, while the Warriors dropped their second straight game after a season-opening win. It was all Central Lake to start the game.

Landon Waller got the first Trojan touchdown on a three-yard scamper with 5:36 left in the first period.

Central Lake made it a 14-0 game after Jason Barnett caught a 5-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Ryan Crawley in the second quarter. Forest Area came back to score two touchdowns before the half to make it 14-14 at the break.

But, the Trojans made some defensive adjustments in the second half, and continued to run the ball on the Warriors.
