Obituaries PUBLISHED: Anne was born on June 13, 1929 in Detroit, the daughter of Samuil and Natalia (Kredych) Bladdick. Anne was a Mancelona resident since 1972 and was a very active, long-time member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Mancelona. She was a master gardener, accomplished painter, enjoyed music, reading, writing, volunteering and was a 1982 North West Michigan Fair Homemaker of the Year recipient and received several awards at the Michigan State Fair. On Sept. 23, 1967 in Detroit, she married John Roman who preceded her in death in 2005. Also preceding her in death were four brothers, Michael, Bill, George and John Bladdick, and her parents. Surviving are four children, Mike Hergenroeder of Hamtramck, Carol (Steve) Lucente of Rochester Hills, Sandy (John) Snodgrass of San Antonio, Tex. and Steve Roman of Alden. Also surviving are six grandchildren, four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A funeral mass took place on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2007 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Mancelona. Interment took place on Monday, Sept. 24, at Oakview Cemetery in Royal Oak. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony Catholic Church, the Antrim County Commission on Aging or the Father Fred Foundation.
