Bill was born Oct. 23, 1934 in Dearborn, Mich. He worked for many years as a pipe fitter/plumber for Ford Motor Company. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army paratroopers.

Bill and his wife Doloris moved to northern Michigan in 1985. He enjoyed two-tracking, visiting the lakes of northern Michigan and bowling.

Bill is survived by his wife Doloris; stepsons, Tom and Brad Burton of Lincoln Park, David Burton of Brownstown, Steve Burton of Flint, Jody Burton and daughter Mary Waara of South Gate; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and his sister, Lillian Sabbabin of Dearborn Heights.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Dennis. A memorial service will take place Saturday, Oct. 13 at 3 p.m. at the American Legion Post #426 in Trenton, Michigan.
