Sports PUBLISHED:
"We came back in the second half, but we just weren't there the first half; and then we tried to do the best we could," Bellaire head coach Lindsey DeFever said. "We had a great game against Roscommon on Monday," he said, "and if we played like that today we would have won. "We just didn't play today." Bellaire did play staunch defense the entire game, only allowing the one goal out of Forest Area's 24 shots. Sophomore keeper Tucker Davis made 10 saves to keep Bellaire in the game throughout. "I thought we played well and had a good game," he said. "Our shots just weren't where we wanted them." Bellaire travels to East Jordan tonight and Leland on Friday before hosting the district tournament, which starts next Tuesday.ΚΚ |
