She was born Aug. 19, 1929, in Grand Rapids, the daughter of Ted and Hermia Gould.

Dee raised her family in Rockord where she was a wife, mother and very busy beautician. She loved music and excelled at playing the piano and organ. After retiring to her dream home on Torch Lake with her husband Frank, she became active in the Central Lake Lioness Club, Central Lake District Library and enjoyed attending high school athletics. Dee loved having people around her and will be missed by her family and many friends.

Dee is survived by her sons, Frank (Cathy) Kulhawik of Lowell, Ted Kulhawik of Grand Rapids and Dick (Laurie) Kulhawik of Grand Rapids; grandchildren, Jake Kulhawik, Andrea Kulhawik, Heidi (Don) Angelini, and Cindy Kulhawik; and great-granddaughter Allie Angelini.

She was preceded in death by her husband Frank, in 1987.

Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 10, at the Central Lake Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. Pastor David Wood officiated.

Interment followed in Lakeview Cemetery, Torch Lake Twp.

Memorial services will also be held Saturday, Dec. 15, 2007, 11 a.m. at the Tallmadge Community Church, 1428 Leonard St. NW, Grand Rapids. Visitation will take place from 10 a.m. until the time of services.
